Bud-Row to Brother.

On Monday January 17,2022 Jerry Cole “Redeye Rambler” was called home. Jesus sent an angel to escort this very special brother into Heaven’s gate. One last run, with one more bridge to cross. His Departure time wasn’t planned but his destination known, In the blink of an eye, life’s journey, ending with a short trip, eternal life, peace & rest in God’s eternal kingdom. Words cannot begin to express the blessing this special soul we called Redeye was in my life. A friendship, started over a love of trucks, that grew into the gift of a brother, the truest blessing. On Friday, I’ll have the honor of providing Jerry’s eulogy, one week since being ask that I do so. I had not a clue the honor would come so quickly. Today while the selfish me wishes that call would have lasted a little longer, one more story, one more memory, Christ reminds me; no void is deep enough to swallow special memories, they’ll simply spill over growing sweeter filling more void and there’s no way to miss someone for-ever when it’s for certain you’ll see them again. Within his eulogy, I’ll do my best to honor this ole Redeye of ours, through the tears trying to laugh, while filling the void left with so many fond memories. With no doubt knowing that on the golden shore someday he’ll remind me of what I forgot to mention. Please continue to keep Jerry’s family in your prayers. With that I’ll close, as we always finished;

I Love ya, Red.
