“Boldness to Spirituality or Spirituality to Boldness”

Posted on: January 16th, 2017 by ktaylor

What, where,when, why & how or if, does Boldness have to do with Spirituality? The starting point, or topic for study needs to be the definition of the words themselves or does it. Is it a question or a statement? If we really look here from a Biblical standpoint there is a load to get into. Personal Actions, language, one on one friendships & conversations and mostly(not trying to direct here) our personal walk with Christ. All thoughts and or comments can be forwarded to or via Crossmembers Men’s Ministry Facebook page. Also any one wishing to send comments via my personal Facebook page by private message, no problem what so ever. We will run this Bible/Spiritual study for the next week, with a summary posting of comments & thoughts to follow. So pray about it first, then (as my PaPa would say) study about it.

in Christ

Thoughts & Comments;

Yes,the Bible presents many scriptures describing & calling for boldness only found in a relationship with Jesus Christ, each one as with all God’s word revealing truth, guidance & direction. With that note I do encourage a study around them all. However for the purpose of this particular Bible study the scripture chosen Acts 28:31 best details the conversation, thought’s & study, I believe God intended. The purpose was to get some thought around how God calls us to be relentless in the delivering of His message, this deliverance surly & mainly includes our actions in daily living. I’m not talking about being Tarzan, running around beating your chest hollering look at me. “I’m a Christian” that’s not the type of boldness God is speaking of. The boldness is that of change, change of lifestyle that with or without words lovingly shows, the transformation of Salvation, a life with all words & actions reveals the image of Jesus.  This boldness will at times include correction, to ourselves and yes to others(correcting isn’t judging). The boldness found within our spiritual walk with Christ if true, cannot be contained. Our Christian concern for others eternal Salvation will call & convict us to engagement, no matter the circumstance or situation.
