Communion,lets have a discussion.

What is communion? Why and who should take communion? Lets start with the verse listed below,

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:26-28 (NIV)



Worry,Worry,Worry,but why,why,why!

We as human seemed to determined to worry.We worry about everything from financial to physical. But why? Our study this week will focus on why we should not worry and what we  can do if worry starts to intrude upon our relationship and service.What does God’s word tell us about worry and what does it say about our faith when we allow ourselves to worry?

We see polls all the time, sports and politics being the most. Polls always have a margin of error 2% this way or 2% that way leaving enough room for the undecided. A poll released last week suggested that only 43% of Americans attend church regularly. Now while we should and are concerned about the 43 % it’s in more than just a number the concern is hidden. I would like this Bible study to focus on, not just why a growing number of Christians have chosen to opt out so to speak through not attending Church regularly but how do we get them back in. As a servant of Christ with an active Church family I realize the importance of Hebrews 10:25 and  trust other Christians do as well. (more…)
