Matthew 11: 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

When reading the above verse, what is Christ saying to us?

Does God answer the prayers of the unsaved?

Our Bible study this week takes aim at the above question that I myself have been ask many times. Now I’m not asking about when a person that is unsaved prays for forgiveness then receives the filling of the Holy Sprit, what I feel the Lord leading us to discuss is around the context of, for example; if someone living in sin prays for say someone sick or someone having family trouble does God hear this prayer?

Psalm 34:17 17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.

What is Sanctification?

1 Corinthians 6:11  And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

This seems to be a great starting point. Each day I will continue to post more insight and ask that everyone else do the same, as we continue to study God’s word to strengthen our relationship and grow with and active discipleship.
